All I Wanna Do Is Write...

Hello New Friends,

I'm Casey Davis, a happily, newly married wife of a Marine turned Software Engineer. We both

share a love for Jesus Christ, Theology, History and Film. We're also fairly fond of

our four children: Chandler (married to Cadie), Evie, Caryn and Ridge. Both of our daughters are

gifted visual artists and writers. The youngest attends a performing arts high school in Georgia,

and the other will be attending a local college next year.

I attended film school in my twenties, and now write screenplays. I have several projects I'm developing into made-for-film scripts, as well as graphic novels. Check out my vision for moving forward here.

Writing is the only thing I do where I don't feel like I should be doing something else, someone once said. That someone could've been me. I'm not the best in the world, by a long shot, but it makes my soul happy. ​

I don't believe God will pour more wisdom and creativity into us until we've poured out to others what He's already given, so this blog is one way I can share what I've learned along my atypical journey. I finally decided to commit myself to share the good, the bad and the ugly, and be intentional about it. I hope it inspires and encourages you, and maybe reminds you of how not to take the ups and downs too seriously.
